Mainstream Media Note Taking

Mainstream Media Note Taking is an academic note taking exercise utilizing content from mainstream news and culture.
This course will allow students to evaluate news and media in efforts to learn to find main ideas then organize them in effective notes.
We will use a plethora of note taking strategies. In this camera on course students will be challenged to demonstrate independent thinking. Students will participate in Q&A’s that encourage them to contribute relevant insights, respond to peers; make comparisons and contrasts; and analyze a plethora of topics.
